Ready to ride the rails & explore great ales?

Discover Worcester’s finest pubs whilst travelling sustainably.

This self-guided adventure links you the best spots in Worcester, offering you the perfect blend of fresh air, historic charm and top-quality brews. Whether you’re a local explorer or a day-tripper, grab your trail map and enjoy some incentives along the way!

Here’s how it works:
The aim of the game is to ditch the car and travel by train.

Pick up your leaflet (with map & stamp card) at the station (Worcester has 2 great stations, Foregate street and Shrub Hill, see map for locations).

Collect stamps as you visit the pubs – when you reach your sixth, just ask at the bar for your Rail to Ale custom pin badge!

For more information, please visit the pubs’ websites or give them a call.

Collect your leaflet from Foregate St station or Shrub Hill station, it contains a map and your stamp card.

Show your leaflet in participating pubs to get special limited offers and discounts.

Any of these pubs can be the final one, but to get your custom pin, your 6 stamps must be from 6 different pubs.

Offers are at the discretion of each pub, and may vary or be subject to availability.

1. Travel by train for a great day out.

Plan your Rail to Ale adventure by checking train times in advance at nationalrail.co.uk or via your preferred rail app.

For the best value, consider off-peak tickets, railcards, or group travel discounts when booking.

We’d love to see your Rail to Ale adventures – photos, pints, pub dogs and scenic strolls!

2. Collect a leaflet and stamp card at the station

6 stamp spots – collect 6 stamps and receive a custom pin badge from your final pub stop.

Just ask for your badge from the bar staff on your final stamp.

Enjoy the trail responsibly and get home safe.

There is a northern route and a southern route in Worcester for you to explore.

3. Follow the route to some great pubs

Pace those pints. Sip, don’t sprint…

Other great things to do and see include:
A) Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum
B) The Commandery Museum
C) National Trust – Greyfriars House and Garden
D) Worcester Cathedral

4. Get your sheet stamped at each pub

Collect all 6 stamps and receive a custom pin badge from your final pub stop.

Please be aware that trail offers and promotions are determined by each individual pub and may be time-limited or subject to change.

Please note: It can be a non-alcoholic or an alcoholic drink to collect the stamps and claim the prize. Please sip responsibly.

5. Claim your prize and share your day with us

At the end, ask for your badge from the bar staff on your final stamp.

Don’t forget, we’d love to see your Rail to Ale adventures…
