Walks along the line
Barnt Green to Alvechurch
Route summary
From Barnt Green, we pick up the Worcester and Birmingham Canal in open country and head east and then south on the Waterways Walk as far as Alvechurch station, taking in the Bittell Reservoirs and the River Arrow.

Alvechurch to Redditch
Route summary
This walk heads south east, through rolling open countryside to join paths in Arrow Valley Park and its Needle Museum. The final section is to and through Redditch town centre to the station.

The Arrow Valley Line provides access to the Lickey Hills at Barnt Green, canal walks at Alvechurch, and to the town of Redditch with it’s the needle manufacturing history.
