Ready to ride the rails & explore great ales?

Discover Worcester’s finest pubs whilst travelling sustainably.

This self-guided adventure links you the best spots in Worcester, offering you the perfect blend of fresh air, historic charm and top-quality brews. Whether you’re a local explorer or a day-tripper, grab your trail map and enjoy some incentives along the way!

Here’s how it works:
The aim of the game is to ditch the car and travel by train.

Pick up your leaflet (with map & stamp card) at the station (Worcester has 2 great stations, Foregate street and Shrub Hill, see map for locations).

Collect stamps as you visit the pubs – when you reach your sixth, just ask at the bar for your Rail to Ale custom pin badge!

For more information, please visit the pubs websites or give them a call.

Plan your Rail to Ale adventure by checking train times in advance at nationalrail.co.uk or via your preferred rail app.

For the best value, consider off-peak tickets, railcards, or group travel discounts when booking.

We’d love to see your Rail to Ale adventures—photos, pints, pub dogs and scenic strolls!

Tag us @WCRPartnership and use #RailToAle so we can share your journey.

Collect a Stamp Card at the station
6 stamp spots – collect 6 stamps and receive a custom pin badge from your final pub stop.

Just ask for your badge from the bar staff on your final stamp.

Enjoy the trail responsibly and get home safe. Sip, don’t sprint…

There is a northern route and a southern route in Worcester for you to explore.

Great things to do and see include:
A) Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum
B) The Commandery Museum
C) National Trust – Greyfriars House and Garden
D) Worcester Cathedral
